About

Hi! I’m Paul Drongowski AKA “pj”. I’m a computer scientist and engineer who has worked in industry and has taught college-level computer science and engineering. My industrial gigs include Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Hewlett Packard and Siemens. During the last several years, I specialized in program profiling and performance tuning. I’ve had the pleasure to teach computer design, architecture and software development at Case Western Reserve University, Tufts University and Princeton.

Whew, now that I got that out of the way — welcome! I now spend most of my time playing with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Papilio and other low-cost electronic toys i.e., the “Sand” in the title of my blog. Hopefully, you will find my blog and its pages to be helpful and maybe they will inspire experiments of your own!
